Access

The elevated position and seclusion of the house mean that there is a safe but steep path from the village to reach the house level.

The house is not suited to anyone with limited mobility or anyone generally unsteady on their feet.

Polperro is a largely traffic free village as many of the “roads” are far too narrow for a car.  Parking is available at the top of the village, (parking pass included with rental) and it’s a 750m stroll to the harbour area.

From April to November an electric tram service runs from the car park to the village centre.

The Polperro Luggage Taxi (quad bike with trailer), can be booked to take your luggage from the car park to the bottom of the path at the house. Please note that it is unable to take luggage to the top of the path due to width restriction.
